New Dresser

It may seem odd to get so excited about a dresser, but let me tell you. Having a bad or ill-suited dresser makes life sorta difficult on an everyday basis. I’ve always skimped on dressers, buying cheaper ones that I wanted to paint. It’s taken me 6 dressers (Gregory’s included) over the course of 5 years to learn the truth– you get what you pay for. Real wood instead of particle board? Drawers that are deep enough? Drawers that slide nicely?

See, none of those even had to do with the dresser’s appearance, which was all I used to care about.

How awesome that this dresser is all of those things, including the perfect shabby chic/iron accents style for our bedroom?
